It’s well known that singing as part of a group is guaranteed to lift the spirits and improve the sense of well being. If you haven’t tried singing in a group before, why not come and give it a try?
Tideswell singers are a welcoming and informal singing group of around thirty men and women of all ages. We have a very varied repertoire, no auditions, opportunities to get involved in local performances, sometimes with other choirs. Our performances have taken us to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Local Churches and Village Halls, L’Eroica and various weddings, as well as further afield. We have a friendly and supportive atmosphere, and a growing reputation for our high quality performances, sometimes with tea and cakes.
We are looking to expand our numbers a little and invite you to come and give us a try. We meet on Wednesday evenings 7.30-9.30 pm, usually in Litton Village Hall. Come along and see if you enjoy it. There are no fees for trial sessions.
Carol our regular Music Director is singing on the other side of the world at the moment, and while she is away we are being led by two of our most talented members – Alice and John.
