It will be 30 years this November since the very first meeting at the Devonshire Royal Hospital. The group became constituted the following year, and has served the people of High Peak and Derbyshire Dales ever since.We are organising a 30th anniversary celebration, which will be held at the Old Hall Hotel, Buxton on Monday 24th October at 6.30pm to accommodate people on strict insulin regimes.Tickets will be £10 per person.
We hope you can join us for the meal , and that we may re-new aquaintances of those who have moved on and no longer need our help. We do NOT want to remind you of the BAD times when you were first diagnosed, but to celebrate the good times and the help and information given.Please contact me or Ian Taylor for a ticket, and let us know if you have any special dietary requirements (gluten free, vegetarian etc) Each ticket has a lucky number which will be put into a draw on the night.
