The foundation is a charity which has a small amount of money available each year to distribute as grants to students at university or colleges of higher education (18+) to help with books or equipment relevant to their course. The charity’s requirement is that the student’s home when not away at University is in the parish of Tideswell, which includes Litton, Cressbrook, Millers Dale, Wheston, Wormhill or Peak Dale.
