Profits from Tideswell Running Club’s hugely successful Fell Race last December, The Litton Christmas Cracker, were handed over to two local organisations, as a thank you for their support. Friends of Litton which supports the village’s Community Shop and Buxton Mountain Rescue Team both were present on one of the Club’s training evenings this month to receive, their cheques. Sue Jeff, race organiser handed the cheque over to the Rescue Team, who were on hand during the race just in case, and George Willingham from Ashford Lane Garage, who’s postured the race, presented the cheque to representatives of the shop.
