Our new Work and Skills Programme has helped a number of disadvantaged people move closer to work by developing their employment skills and qualifications. Our work coach, Jane, supported one person into work after 20 years of unemployment.
We’ve also recently opened a new Foodbank outpost in Chapel-en-le-Frith offering emergency food parcels and support to resolve problems for local people.
We are always grateful for your donations – this month we are particularly short of shampoo, deodorant, tinned meat and vegetables, rice, toilet rolls and coffee.
There is a box at the back of St John’s Parish Church, Tideswell, for non-perishable food or toiletries. Or you can make a financial donation online on www.highpeakfoodbank.co.uk
Many thanks to residents of Tideswell and surrounding villages for your continued support.
