Miller’s Dale & District W. I. met in Litton Village Hall on January 14th for their first meeting of the new year. Our President, Judy Cooper welcomed all The Members and thanked them for coming out on such a cold, wet and windy night.
The business meeting was short and was followed by our evenings speaker. This was Sally Hodgson who gave an excellent talk entitled “How I became a Dry Stone Waller”. The photos and the talk were inspirational and she has such a genuine pride and love for the rural countryside. We all thoroughly enjoyed her talk and the evening, which finished with lots of chats plus refreshments.
Our next monthly meeting is on Wednesday 11th of February 2015 at 7.30 pm at our usual venue – Litton Village Hall. All Friends, Visitors and New Members are very welcomed to attend.
