This month’s film

Tideswell Cinema’s choice for February is the charming foreign language film ‘Wadjda’, the first feature-length film to be made by a female Saudi director. It is the story of a fun-loving ten year old girl who has set her heart on buying a bicycle she has seen, and signs up for her school’s Koran recitation competition as a way to raise the funds. A delight for a wintry night!

It will be screened at 7.30pm on Thursday 26th February upstairs at the George Inn, and guests are welcome at a ticket cost of £4.75. Make an evening of it by eating at the George before the film.
