Is there something in the air around Tideswell that makes it such a special place? In company with 57 others, I have today enjoyed the Luncheon Club’s Christmas lunch: the room looked stunning, the food was beautifully cooked and served, we even took home a gift. The people involved were old and comparatively new Tideswellians, either cooking or eating, it couldn’t have been a happier start to Christmas. All we can say is ‘thank you‘ to all concerned in preparing such a lovely event, it looks as if you’ve created another Tideswell institution. To everyone concerned in the work of the Lunch Club, have a blessed Christmas and New Year, and we’re all looking forward very much to starting again on January 21st.
