TIDESWELL CINEMA

We’ve ordered some hot sunshine for the January film – “Tracks”, set in the Australian outback. It tells the story of Robyn Davidson, who in April 1977 set off to walk west from Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean some 1700 miles away, with four camels and a dog for company. Directed by John Curran, it is described as ‘achingly beautiful’, with stunning scenery and cinematography. A great way to forget the gloom of a UK winter for a couple of hours!

It will be shown at The George Inn at 7.30pm, on Tuesday 27th January (not the usual Thursday), and guest members are welcome (£4.75).
