Plans are moving forward for our third annual Food Festival which promises to be bigger and better than the previous two.
If you would like a stall for the day, please see Phil Walker in the Post Office. Last year we had local businesses and organisations joining in the fun along with the visiting stall holders and with a packed village all reported brisk trade. The Festival is also looking for volunteers to help on the day. Directing traffic and visitors, helping stall holders, smiling and looking cheerful and just being on hand when something needs doing. If you’re part of a local group or band and would like to do something – dance, sing, exhibit – then do contact Phil. The Festival is for everyone in the village and helps to highlight what the village has to offer and what a great place it is to come and shop. By doing that, it’ll help to keep our shops open whilst other villages are losing theirs.
