Tideswell PC News
The Parish Council redevelopment project at Richard Lane has been very popular already and we still have work to do. We are currently raising funds to improve the fencing and walls. In the mean time repair work to the existing fence and a new gate is being organised as quickly as possible.
The next project we hope to start work on soon is the redevelopment of the public toilets. We are to have designs drawn up from an Architect and we look forward to sharing these.
We are very pleased to support the upcoming housing needs surgery. The newly formed Tideswell Community Land Trust have been working on this with DDDC and we encourage those with housing need to complete the survey.
The Parish flower beds and planters around the Parish have had extra work on them and have seen an improvement to the area.
We would like to take this opportunity to post in the Village Voice the names of this year’s Community Awards. The event was held back in May and a was a fabulous morning with very deserving winners. The event highlights that we are  living in a fabulous village enriched by a number of outstanding events and activities. (Mainly run by volunteers).  We look forward to doing the same again next year. We will of course be asking for your nominations.

Tideswell band are joining us and their will be the annual blessing of the crib. If you would like to get involved in the Christmas lights we would welcome volunteers. Or if you’d like to offer some space for us to put lights up we would welcome the suggestions. Residents or businesses we would love to hear from you. It would be wonderful if as many people as possible could join in.
