Plans are underway for this year’s Tideswell Food Festival and Makers’ Market, scheduled for:
Saturday 3rd May 2025
An organising committee is in place and work has started preparing the way for this major annual attraction. Hopes are high that there will be even more food and drinks variety than usual and the Makers’ Market stalls are nearly all taken.
The event benefits local traders and community organisations and has helped us donate over £1,500 to Tideswell and District Community Association (TDCA) and others to support local initiatives and groups.
As in previous years roads needing to close for the day for stall holders and entertainment. They are:
Church Street
Fountain Street
Cherry Tree Square and
the Pot Market
Permission has been sought from Derbyshire Dales District Council and concerns or queries should be addressed to tideswellfoodfestival@gmail.com or 07943 837220 by 28th March.
Volunteers
As always, there is reliance on volunteers to act as marshals throughout the day, providing the warmest of welcomes to traders and the public, while helping the event to run smoothly. More volunteers are required. Pauline Prince and Jacqueline Teeney are looking after this and can be contacted at volunteers.tideswellfoodfestival@gmail.com
