Tunnel Singing

How long does it take to set up a tradition? Tideswell Singers are hoping that three years will count as they prepare to sing in Headstone Tunnel and greet Eroica Britannia cyclists on bright and early on 19 June. This year there will be further bursts of song en route, including the food stop in Tideswell, as some choir members dress up and ride their vintage cycles!

As a choir which is firmly rooted in the community, Tideswell Singers are delighted to have been invited to join celebrations in Eyam Village Day, 9 July. They will be singing in the church and the Mechanic’s Institute between 2pm and 3pm.

The choir will also give its end of season charity fund-raising concert in a local village on Wednesday 13 July. Further details will soon be at www.tideswellsingers.org.uk available at along with more information about choir activities
