The group met in September to hear a talk by Ruth Moore about CAPACITY. She dispelled a lot of myths surrounding the subject. Members were given valuable information about the difference between a Deputy, a Power of Attorney and Lasting Power of Attorney. It was interesting to find out that Capacity does include the ability to make decisions… even unwise decisions. Everyone present enjoyed the talk as well as gaining a great deal from it. Ruth has promised to speak to the members again, and was warmly thanked by Sue Barber on behalf of the group.
