That wonderful time of year is fast approaching….Christmas!
The Parish Council are ordering the two Christmas trees for the village that we provide. Last year it was mentioned on social media that businesses would like to come together and provide a tree for the church.
I have spoken to the church who have confirmed they are happy to house a tree and would welcome the donations.
If you would like to get involved please contact Hannah Owen or Simon White. The tree will require ordering as soon as possible.
On the Christmas note, the Parish Council will be running the Christmas lights competition. This year we ask that if you want to take part, please register your name and address. You can call or email Hannah Owen, 07738076902 or clerk@tideswellparishcouncil.co.uk You must register to be entered into the competition.
We are also offering a supply of lights to people who want to work with their neighbors to decorate their street. If you would like to design an area of your street we’d be happy to supply some lights. We want to make the lights bigger and better and need your help. Again, contact Hannah if you’d like to be involved.
Finally the Christmas light switch on is set to take place Friday 7th December at 6pm. We will be meeting the weekend before to put the lights up and would really appreciate any help you can offer us.
