Healthy spine, mobile joints…sound appealing!

This summer I will be teaching classes at the Bamford institute. The type of yoga I teach isn’t very gymnastic although it does encourage total body movement in order to maintain and restore functional movement of joints. I encourage a sensory experience, “what does this feel like,” rather than “what does it look like.”

I am interested in helping people find their individual tension patterns and ways to release them. Tension in the body reduces choice in movement.

Yoga led me to mediation (15 years ago) and as the way I teach is influenced by my own practise there is a strong mindfulness aspect. ( kindly awareness!)
