Hurray ! – the 2017 Crown Green Bowling season opens on April 2nd, and as usual the TIDESWELL BOWLING CLUB would like to invite anyone ( Male or Female – any age ) who is intrested in playing at any level to come along and join us. We are always looking to recruit new members to ensure the clubs continuity, and it is of no account if you have never played before and would like to learn the game or if you have played before and would like to take up the game again.
The green and its supporting facilities, ranked among the best in North Derbyshire, are open for members to use 7 days a week during the 26 week season, except when league matches or oyher competitions are taking place.
We are a club catering for all levels of bowling from pure social to league and cup competitions and provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphire for members to enjoy, Unlike many sports, no equipment is needed to start playing ( just a pair of flat shoes – no heels ) as bowls etc are provided as required, by the club.
