Tideswell Singers are now enjoying a well earned break over the summer until rehearsals start again in Litton Village Hall at 7:30 Wednesday 5 September. The choir will be embarking on exciting community project in collaboration with Tideswell Community Players. Both groups are inviting people to join them in creating a production with the theme ‘Safe Home’ to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War by focussing on peace and what it means to us.
Wordless dramatisation will provide a moving and visual landscape to music from Karl Kenkins’ ‘The Armed Man’ under the combined direction of Ceri Royles and Carol Bowns. If you are interested in being part of this event please contact Carol on 07748 161120 carolbowns@me.com <mailto:carolbowns@me.com> or Ceri on 07976910887 ceri.stevens@tiscali.co.uk <mailto:ceri.stevens@tiscali.co.uk>. Participants (16+) from the wider community, all abilities and levels of experience welcome.
