From 22nd July, DCC have announced the following changes:
Service 65 Buxton/Sheffield
The route has been split to run by two operators. High Peak buses have cut their existing service down to two services Mon – Sat only, their service is rerouted and will not serve Litton and runs via Wormhill it will serve Millers Dale, Tideswell and Great Hucklow. No Sunday or Bank holiday service with this operator.
The new operator Stagecoach will also now run the service 65 ,7 days per week, (inc Bank holidays) on a more frequent basis, it will serve Millers Dale, Litton ,Tideswell and Great Hucklow. The good news is that this operator will run the service to Meadow Hall. See DCC public transport website for timetables.
No changes are planned for 66/66A (Buxton/ Chesterfield) or 173 (Bakewell /Castleton), but no Sunday or BH service.
