The incredible true story of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson – three African-American women working at NASA as mathematicians, physicists and engineers. They worked as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history – the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. With Kevin Costner as Head of Engineering/Flight Director who learns to set aside any racial prejudices he might have and recognises the talent of these women. This stunning achievement galvanized the world and inspired generations to dream big.
