A weekend of glorious sunshine welcomed the visitors to Eroica Britannia whilst a gallant band of Tideswell Singers braved the chill of Headstone tunnel to greet the intrepid riders who warmed them with their cheerful waves, smiles and bicycle bells!
The choir’s final event before a well deserved summer break will be performing as part of Chelmorton Festival on Wednesday12 July.
Rehearsals start again Wednesday 6 Septmeber when they will begin preparing for their annual Come & Sing event. This year the work to be Haydn’s Nelson Mass on Saturday 28 October.
Tideswell Singers meet every Wednesday at 7:30pm in Litton Village Hall (Litton Church every second Wednesday of the month). Do think about coming along to join this friendly, non-audition choir which is active in the community and sings music in a great variety of styles. You will be given a very warm welcome and discover the health and well-being benefits of singing in a choir!
