I would like to extend my thanks to everyone that has made a donation, a fantastic response. To date, in a short space of time, you have donate over £1600, great effort by all. 4 willing and enthusiastic people from the village expressed a wish to become a responder and are now well on their way to achieving that aim.
For a voluntary organization, donations from the community are essential. However, just as important are willing participants to help, as responders, organising events, fund raise and generally help run the group. I began asking for support some 4 weeks ago with a mail drop in the village, message in the Village Voice and a message on Tideswell Facebook page, the response from the village has been great. We will be arranging events over the following week/months, so please watch this space for details.
