TADYC committee would like to update you regarding fundraising and to thank the number of individuals and groups that support and contributions over Carnival week.
Money was collected on Litton night and their carnival committee added a generous donation of £250. Audrey and Derek Buckley kindly allowed us to place display in their shop window – money was collected and further interest generated.
Congratulations to Tideswell Cubs and Scouts who under the leaders of Elaine and Bob produced a fabulous well dressing panel situated in the churchyard. An impressive £600 was raised in donations.
The fell race committee kindly donated all profits towards the rebuild. Money was collected in the pot market and title carnival committee added a generous donation of £300.
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard over this period and to anyone but money into a collecting tin – this is a great start to the fundraising.
