The WI met for their usual monthly meeting at Litton Village Hall on 9th. March. In spite of the bad weather nearly all the members were present and were welcomed by Judy Cooper – The President.
The business section of the meeting included future dates of events. A special meeting to celebrate The Queen’s Birthday and a ‘County Quiz’; the results of The Resolutions will be discussed at The A G M.
The business meeting concluded Judy introduced Margaret Collier, who set up a ‘Sugarcraft’ workshop entitled The Easter Bunny, using a small chocolate cream egg. We all had great fun and all managed to produce various shapes and sizes of Easter Bunnies with Margaret’s guidance. We all got enormous pleasure from this workshop and the time passed so quickly. At the end, 24 Easter Bunnies all had their photos taken; the meeting did not finish till 10pm.
The next meeting is Wednesday 13th. April 2016 at 7.30pm at our usual venue – Litton Village Hall.
