After weeks in hospital may I at last take this opportunity to say a
sincere thank you to all of you that remembered my big birthday in
mid October, a huge thank you to my wife Julia who arranged the
gathering at a most unusual venue.
For all the many messages numerous gifts and over 50 birthday
cards, My most grateful thanks to each and every one of you for your
kindness and warm thoughts. I am deeply proud that so many have
numbered me among their friends.
