The November meeting was treated to a wondeful talk by Linda Fayers-Hallin ablut Christmas traditions and legends.The origins of so many of the things we associate with Christmas come from a diverse, and sometimes unexpected source. Members enjoyed every minute of the talk and would like Linda to return next year.
Hon Secretary Sue Barber thnaked Linda , and also informed the group about the award from Chesterfield voluntary sector. The next meeting will be held at the Buckingham hotel Buxton on 21st December at 7.0pm. This will be the Annual general meeting, and as usual information leaflets will be available. There will be no meeting in January.
