Great news! After a very successful fundraising campaign, Litton Village shop has raised £4350 towards our target of £5,000 to install solar panels on the roof this summer. This has been done through generous donations from individuals, Friends of Litton Village and local businesses including the Coop. The solar panels will generate a significant amount of electricity, which will reduced the shop’s costs through reduced bills, and also reduce the impact on the environment.
So, on behalf of the shop committee, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved, and it is not too late to donate or sign up to be a member of the shop for £10. Membership forms can be obtained from the shop, donations should be made to LVSA and left at the shop or sent to Keith Wright as Treasurer, at Holly Cottage , Litton, Buxton, Derbyshire SK178QU.
