Litton Parish Matters

On Thursday 19 March from 6.30pm to 7.30pm the parish council will hold its Annual Parish Meeting in Litton Village Hall. All residents are invited to attend in order to tell councillors what they think the council should be doing during the forthcoming year and to ask questions about what it has done during 2014.

Items on the agenda will include: increase in Council Tax, regulations for the village greens and the opening of the Garden of Remembrance.

On Thursday 7 May the national and local elections take place. If any resident is interested in becoming a councillor then in the notice referred to above there will be information about what they need to do in order to put themselves forward for election. In addition the council will put aside time at its March meeting to meet with anyone who may be interested in becoming a councillor and would like to know more about what it involves. If you are interested please come along at 8.00pm to the council meeting in Litton Village Hall on Monday 16 March.
