Miller’s Dale & District W. I. met at Litton Village Hall on Wednesday 9th December for their Christmas meeting. Most of our members attended and we were greeted by our President – Judy Cooper. We then thoroughly enjoyed a great meal which was provided by Stephanie Millington and consisted of Lasagne and salad, followed by an assortment of delicious home-made sweets.
After this we all joined in with a quiz, followed by some games – all enjoyed by those present. The meeting, having started promptly at 7pm, did not finish until after 10pm. This Christmas meeting was deemed to have been a huge success and a great way to finish this year.
Our next monthly meeting is on Wednesday 14th. January 7.30pm – at our usual venue – Litton Village Hall and the speaker will be Sally Hodgson whose talk is entitled ‘How I became a Dry Stone Waller’; all friends, visitors and new members are most welcomed to attend.
