I would like to introduce myself as the Police Community Support Officer covering the Tideswell area. My name is Ian Phipps and I joined the Police Force in May of this year.
I am very much looking forward to getting to know the residents and surrounding areas of Tideswell and hope to meet people when on patrol. Please say hello if you see me!
Please could I encourage you all, if you are not already, to sign up for Derbyshire Alert via www.derbyshirealert.co.uk and also I would be very pleased to hear from anyone who would be happy to be a Neighbourhood Watch coordinator for their immediate area.
A couple of things for your attention, firstly please be aware of suspicious males in a white Ford Transit that have been seen in the locality possibly showing an interest in dogs. If you see anything in relation to this please call Derbyshire Police on 101. Also as we are now well into the darker evenings please ensure out buildings and sheds are securely locked. Shed alarms and sensor lighting can be purchased at a subsidised rate from Bakewell Police Station.
Should you wish to contact me my collar number is 12747 and you can leave me a message via 101 or email me at ian.phipps.12747@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk
