Remembrance Parade

The service took place around the memorial with more groups than ever before represented. From the very young to the very old, a parade which showed the very best Tideswell has to offer, gathered to show their respects to the people and horses who fell in the Great War 1914. Poems, hymns and a most meaningful service, including the names of the local men who gave their lives, were blessed with a fine, sunny day.

There are too many individuals and groups to thank for every aspect of the service, This was a real team effort. Tideswell has every right to pat itself on the back and say “We did well”.
