This time of year is one of both reflection and anticipation. Looking back over the year that has gone and looking forward to the coming one.
It’s been an eventful year for me from the highs of becoming a grandfather and getting married to the lows of having to close the School of Food.
What has shone through though these varied emotions is the power of friendship. It has been quite humbling at times to see the lengths that people have gone to help out in whatever way they could.
So let’s raise a glass, cup or beaker to all our friends this Christmas and if you haven’t said thank you to them recently do so now.
Thank you to everyone who has made 2014 memorable and here’s to a 2015 to look back on with pride too.
