Bishop Pursglove Primary School’s football team are celebrating winning the Rural Derbyshire Small School’s Football tournament earlier this month.
The team, made up of 10 pupils in Years 5 and 6, travelled to Anthony Gell School, near Matlock, and faced tough opposition before beating Parkside 2-0 in their last Round Robin match to win the event by a single goal. They will now play in the county finals at Shirebrook on Tuesday 11th November.
