Amateur Zookeeper on stage – From the tortoise Grand National to penguin adoption, taking in inadvertent shed arson, smuggling, legal bills, divorce battles, Facebook, salsa dancing and the elephant manure industry, Alan Gibbons introduces us to the many characters and events he has encountered and experienced in the strange and mysterious world of amateur zookeeping.
Tilly Mint Theatre’s new one-man show, The Amateur Zookeeper, comes to Tideswell. Written by and starring Nick Brelsford the performance follows a successful run at Buxton Fringe this summer and prior to other performances in London and the provinces. 7:30pm Saturday 11th October, Upstairs at The George. Comedy this Autumn – Tideswell Community Players’ autumn production in November is Alarms and Excursions by Michael Frayn. This hilarious comedy (by the writer of Noises Off) contains several short plays showing the difficulties caused when modern life and technology go wrong.
