Tideswell’s Open Show on Saturday 30th August proved yet again how skilful the people of Tideswell are at producing quality vegetables, jams, cakes and buns. Beautiful flowers and the hens for some cracking eggs. We mustn’t forget photographers and the children whose displays were once again of a very high standard.
The Allotment Association who organised the show would like to thank all those who took part and the numerous visitors for their support. We look forward to next year when the number of entries can exceed this year’s 121.
The Association’s thanks go to Sue Barber who presented the trophies to the various category winners and to our generous sponsors who made the whole thing possible.
In addition, unclaimed prize money can be collected from 9 Commercial Road, Tideswell up to 31st October 2014. If not collected the monies will be returned to the Association’s funds.
