Following on from the highly successful Food Festival and excellent Wakes Week the end of August sees the Tideswell Open Show at Fountain Street Church on Saturday 30th August
As the name implies the show is open to all, from Land’s End to John O’Groats, but in truth most exhibitors live locally with occasional input from Bakewell.
Last year’s high standard was maintained by all the entries coming from Tideswell & Litton.
This year’s categories are :- Extensive range of vegetables Floral classes Cake baking Jam & Preserves Photographic competition Eggs Children’s competition
The subject for the photographic competition is Derbyshire Pubs & Inns (interior and/or exterior shots will be accepted)
For the children the subject is Creepy Crawlies
