FOOD FESTIVAL – 3 May
Come and join us in the garden on the day of the Food Festival. There will be activities for the children from 11am to 4pm, and if the weather is really, really bad you will be able to find us in St John’s Institute.
There will be Children’s Garden Quiz Garden Puzzles – word search, dot to dot, maze Making Scarecrows Making pots and planting seeds
Or just come and join us for a few minutes peace and quiet, see how the garden is doing and find out what our plans are for this year. We appreciate any and all advice given on what we should be doing to make the garden grow.
Other news – our next Garden Work Party will be on Sunday 4 May – we will take this opportunity to plant poppies on the slope in preparation for the commemoration of the start of W WI. Do join us from 11am. We had a really good team last time and we managed to get all the ground dug over and the onion sets planted in little pots. Again, many thanks for all the donations we have had including lots and lots of pots and trays of herb seedlings from the Beavers.
