Cafes serve their customers food and drink and that’s it, isn’t it? Or is it?
Tideswell’s Vanilla Kitchen were approached at the beginning of the winter and asked if they could bring their Sunday lunches up to the residents of Nicholson Court.
They duly obliged and since then, every Sunday between six and 10 residents every week tuck into the splendours of a Sunday lunch without having to prepare it themselves!
Sue at Vanilla Kitchen said “we were delighted to help out when they asked. Some people have difficulty getting down to the cafe here, and it can be busy too, so what better than for us to take it up to them”.
