It’s Official – the transformation of the Fountain Square Kiosk into our village History Box has finally been completed.
Come along on Friday 11th April at 12 noon and join in the ‘Opening Ceremony’ – the winning poem will be displayed, and the box will contain a ‘Listening Post’ and more old photographs. This will be an asset to the village and provide interesting facts for visitors and residents alike.
On the day, we will be in Fountain Square Church Vestry from 11 a.m. hosting a small display and serving tea and coffee. Do come along and join in. We hope to have a ‘local celebrity’ to cut the ribbon and we might even invite the press.
