Following selection for the Sale Sharks academy, local rugby star, Matt Peakman has now been selected for the North of England U16s schools.
After three weekends of inter-county matches and a final trial in Bradford with 50 other boys from Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Durham and Northumberland, the final squad of 25 was announced. He now goes on to trials for England in the spring.
