Summer has come and gone and the band has been busy attending a variety of engagements, most notably the fantastic Carnival and Wakes week here in the village.
For various reasons, we now find ourselves short of a few players and would like to hear from anyone who plays a brass instrument, has played one or is learning. Any ability player is more than welcome and help would be provided within rehearsals where needed.
We have a full new season to look forward to including Sun 13 October – Buxton Pavilion Gardens bandstand Sun 30 Nov – Eyam Christmas Lights Sat 7 Dec – Chatsworth Courtyard Sun 8 Dec – Eyam Hall Carols
And of course all the usual Christmas festivities in Tideswell.
