A hot month. Almost completely dry first 3 weeks then exceptionally wet last 10 days making a very wet month overall. The most notable event was 89.1 mm of rain falling in 8 hours during the night of 27th/28th. Maximum rainfall rate of 175 mm/hour in a thunderstorm early on the 23rd. Maximum rainfall rate of 158 mm/hour in thunderstorm in the afternoon of 29th. These were very unusual events for Tideswell.
