Tideswell Surgery is holding its annual Open Day on Saturday 19th October from 10am up until 2pm at St John’s institute, Tideswell. This year we will be offering our patients their annual flu vaccination. There will also be the usual organisations in attendance, such as the Police, Farming Life, CAB and local fitness instructors.
This year the doctors and practice nurses will be giving flu jabs to all our patients that are entitled to them. To qualify for a free flu jab patients must either be over 65, be diabetic, have respiratory disease, had a stroke or heart attack, have suppressed immunity, or be a registered carer. Pregnant women are also entitled to a free NHS flu jab.
Once you have had your flu jab why not enjoy a slice of homemade cake, or even bring along a homemade cake! You can relax with a cup of tea or coffee whilst you wait for our prize raffle to be drawn. So please come along and bring your friends and family with you. We look forward to seeing you.
