The Bishop Pursglove Foundation is a charity which has a small amount of money available each year to distribute as grants to students at university or colleges of higher education (18+), to help with the cost of books or equipment relevant to their course. Grants may also be available to students in Year 13 who have to buy equipment, such as a lab coat, to prepare for and attend an interview.
The charity’s requirement is that the student’s home when not away at university is in the parish of Tideswell, Litton, Cressbrook, Millers Dale, Wheston, Wormhill or Peak Dale. The application form also asks how the grant would be spent.
