It is five months since our first lunch, though, of course, the first one was snowed off!
There have been one or two minor glitches like a somewhat temperamental cooker and difficulty in maintaining a comfortable temperature during the first few very cold days. We have learned a bit about working the central heating and the cooker is in hand.
The food is tasty and varied, there are three teams doing the cooking.
Diners have increased but we would to be pleased to welcome more of you. We are a friendly bunch. Two courses, a cold drink and tea or coffee to finish costs just £4.50.
We meet once a fortnight at 12.o’clock in the Institute. A lift can be arranged for anyone having difficulty getting there.

If there is anyone out there who is able to help with transport it would be appreciated. It would mostly only be once every 6 weeks, not too demanding!
