Dame Helen Mirren has received the Best Actor Olivier Award for her outstanding performance in her reprise of the role as the Queen in The Audience, a play that is a total sellout in London, and can now only be seen in one of the live screenings around the world. Tideswell is the smallest of these venues, and possibly the only not-for-profit initiative amongst hundreds that will screen the play this month.
The live screening on 13th June is sold out, but there are still a few seats for the Encore on Saturday 15th June. This will be shown upstairs in The George, starting promptly at 7 p.m..
