Estimating how many people attended the previous Food festival was always difficult so this year we used technology to help.
A series of grey boxes âcountedâ a sample of visitors and it’s estimated with a fair amount of confidence that over 4500 people, locals and residents, attended. The average stay was an hour and a half. Who knows what the average spend was?
This is a fantastic number and the fact that the whole event went so smoothly is testament to the fine organisation and the willingness of the village to make it work.
