Due to shortages in funding there will not be a Girlguiding well dressing this year but, fortunately, Tideswell Community Association have agreed to fund a ‘community well’ to temporarily replace this one. It will be co-ordinated by Lynne Burns and myself and everyone is welcome to come along and help regardless of age or ability (though children should be accompanied by an adult).
If you enjoy drawing and would like to submit a picture for the ‘well’, the theme is ‘Community in Tideswell’, Please hand to Lynne or myself by Sunday 9th June.
We will be making the well dressing in the garage at The George, so come and have a go between 6 and 8 oâclock from Tuesday 18th and Friday 21st June.
