Jonathan Charlesworth, The Farming Life Centre’s Farm Business Development Officer is available to help with free, impartial and confidential support for farming families and farm businesses in the Peak District
Examples of situations Jonathan can assist with include: record keeping (tagging/passports), Single Farm Payment/RPA problems, animal welfare, succession issues, BTB, accessing grants, etc . Jonathan is also available to assist farmers who are looking at changing or developing their business in some way, e.g. diversification, succession, computers and IT, livestock management etc. He is in regular attendance at Bakewell, Leek and Holmfirth markets and organises a number of evening training meetings.
