Tideswell After School Club (TASC) are holding a fund-raising quiz at The Horse and Jockey on Friday 8 February at 8pm. Food will also be provided.
TASC is a registered charity run by a small committee of parents to provide affordable child care to working parents in Tideswell, Litton and surrounding villages. At the moment the club is struggling to cover the running costs so if we are to be able to continue to provide child care after school and in the holidays we need to raise more money. Tickets costs £6 and the money we raise will be used to ensure the club has a future. Everyone is welcome so please come along and support us even if you don’t use the club. You can buy tickets from TASC or from Tideswell Stores. Holiday club will be open in February half-term on 19, 20 and 21 February. Activities on offer include: celebrating Chinese New Year with the chance to try different Chinese food; a Pirate day and a ‘Mad Scientists Day’. Holiday club is open from 8am to 6pm. Short slots during the day are also available. The club is open to all children aged three to 11. TASC also runs an after-school club until 6pm each evening during term-time. We offer a pick-up service for any children at Tideswell pre-school and run a taxi service from Litton on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (other days may be possible too if you let us know in advance).
